Syracuse graduate Drew Robinson returned to his alma mater in April 2015 as the director of football operations. During his undergraduate career, Robinson worked with the program as a student manager as a freshman, and was a student assistant coach for offense from 2005 until his graduation in 2007.
  Â
Robinson was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program, including the overall management of the football budget, team travel, bowl-game coordination, and the Scott Shafer Football Camps. In addition, he was responsible for gameday management and the coordination and planning of events and special projects related to the football program.Â
  Â
Before coming back to Syracuse, Robinson filled many roles at Rutgers University, including working as the assistant athletics director for creative and fan experience in 2014. In that position, he was responsible for the implementation of the digital and creative marketing plans while overseeing the creative services department. His work did not go unnoticed as he was selected by the Big Ten Conference to help produce the league’s 2014 championship game.
  Â
From 2012 to 2014, Robinson worked as the Scarlet Knights’ director of branding and social media where he was tasked with maintaining the brand identity for the Rutgers football and men’s and women’s basketball teams.
  Â
In October 2009, Robinson left college athletics to become the high school partnerships manager for MSG Varsity. He began as an outreach coordinator before being promoted to partnership manager in January 2010. As partnership manager, he managed relationships with 40 high schools in Cablevision’s footprint, while assisting in content creation and overall brand management for the network.
  Â
Robinson began his career in intercollegiate athletics as the Rutgers football operations assistant in 2007. He was responsible for planning and coordinating home and away game travel while serving as the liaison between Rutgers football and the NFL. After six months in that role, Robinson was promoted to assistant director of recruiting where he helped bring in the highest-rated class in school history in 2009.
  Â
A native of Berkeley Heights, N.J., Robinson holds a bachelor’s degree in policy studies with a minor in political science.
