Last season, Nandin became one of five members of the all-time Orange roster to start every single game of her career, totaling 227 starts to become the all-time leader in games played and started. She also owns the all-time record with 476 assists and 36 double plays turned. As a junior, Nandin tied a school record with seven runs batted in.
The Syracuse-area native helped SU to its first conference championship as a freshman in 2010 and to three straight NCAA Tournament bids. The Orange repeated as BIG EAST champions the following year in 2011 and picked up the program’s first ever NCAA Tournament victory. In 2012, she helped lead Syracuse to three more wins in the NCAA Tournament, as the Orange finished just shy of advancing to the Super Regionals.
Nandin, the sister of current assistant coach Matt Nandin, will graduate from Syracuse with a degree in physical education in December 2013.
