SYRACUSE – Syracuse head men and women's rowing coaches Dave Reischman and Justin Moore were both honored at the 18th Annual Joy of Sculling Coaching Conference. Reischman was named the 2010 University Men's Coach of the Year for leading the Orange to a sixth-place finish at the 2010 IRA. Moore was named the 2010 College Women's Coach of the Year after winning his sixth NCAA DIII Championship at Williams College this past spring.
Reischman and the men's team open the spring schedule in Princeton, N.J. against Princeton and Georgetown on April 2. The Orange has compiled a 28-5 record in dual races dating back to 2006. Moore and the women begin spring competition at Boston University on March 26. SU won the Kittell Cup for the fourth time in school history last spring.
