Syracuse receiver Macauley Hill will miss the 2013 season due to an injury that will require surgery.

    Syracuse receiver Macauley Hill sustained a lower body injury which will require surgery. As a result of the surgery and rehabilitation process, Hill will not return for the 2013 season. Hill joined the Syracuse team as a walk-on prior to the 2011 season and earned a spot on the 2012 Fall Athletic Director's Honor Roll. In May, Hill, who is majoring in child and family studies, and teammate Sam Rodgers participated in a Mission trip to Haiti to assist with projects and work with children at an orphanage.
    Syracuse begins the 2013 season on Saturday, August 31 against Penn State at MetLife Stadium. All fans are invited to join 'Orangenation Rising,' a state of mind where passion, tradition and die-hard loyalty intersect. Season and single-game tickets can be purchased online, in person at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B), or by calling 1-888-DOMETIX. Season tickets start at just $99 each.
    All Syracuse fans are invited to create a life-long memory for a child by bringing them to the Carrier Dome for the 2013 football home opener against Wagner on September 14. 'Take a Kid to the Game Day' features an opportunity for a free youth ticket for every adult ticket purchased. The game kicks off at 4:00 p.m.
    Season ticket holders are eligible for the free youth tickets, as well! The available tickets will be in a non-preferred section nearest to their season ticket. Season ticket holders may also exchange seats for the day to be seated with their youngsters by visiting the Carrier Dome Box Office prior to game day. Carrier Dome Box Office representatives are available to assist fans, as well. Call 1-888-DOMETIX and select option 0 to speak with a customer service representative.
