Orange to Host Band Day Nov. 1

Strike up the bands! When Syracuse welcomes North Carolina State to the Carrier Dome on Nov. 1, the 'Pride of the Orange' Marching Band will perform with 13 area high school bands, including more than 770 students, at halftime.
Syracuse will welcome a number of high school bands from around the area as part of its inaugural Band Day when the Orange returns to the Carrier Dome to take on the Wolfpack. The bands will all perform at halftime during 'Stars and Stripes Day' in a patriotic set. The first 10,000 fans at the Carrier Dome will receive a red, white and blue Syracuse bandana.
Prior to the game, an Air Force Delayed Enlistment Program Swear-In Ceremony will take place on the Dome field. Fort Drum 10th Mountain Division Command Sergeant Major Rodney 'Ray' Lewis will participate in the pre-game coin toss.
Discounted tickets are available for this event ($18 for adults, $8 for youth) are available on by following this link: Band Day 2014 Tickets
Tickets for the remaining schedule are available online (www.Cuse.com), by phone (888-DOMETIX), at Destiny USA kiosks and at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B). In addition, discounted group tickets (20+), with prices as low as $10 each, are available for all home games by calling the Ticket Sales office (443-3212).
