
Hehir Named ACC Performer of the Week

The junior finished seventh overall at last weekend's Wisconsin Adidas Inviational
After finishing seventh overall at the Wisconsin Adidas Invitational, junior Martin Hehir was named ACC Men's Cross Country Performer of the Week.
Hehir paced the No. 6 Orange to the win in a loaded field in which 19 of the 36 teams racing were ranked and featured six teams in the top-10.
Hehir completed the 8k course in 23:55, just 12 seconds behind first-place finisher Maxim Korolev of Stanford. He led 'Cuse in placing five runners in the top-24.
The next big test for the Orange will come on Halloween, when the team travels to Charlottesville, Va. for the ACC Championships.
