
CHA Gets Automatic Bid to NCAA Tournament

Starting this season, the winner of the CHA will get an automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament
The Orange will have a little more to play for this March when the team competes in the CHA postseason tournament.
The league announced on Thursday that for the first time in conference history, the CHA Champion will be one of the four teams to earn an automatic berth into the NCAA
Tournament. Previously, CHA teams were only selected as at-large bids.
Syracuse has been to three conference championship games since the program's inception for the 2008-09 season.
'Cuse hosts Northeastern on Friday and New Hampshire on Saturday in a pair of non-conference battles.
