PHILADELPHA -- Syracuse goes on the road to face a familiar foe on Saturday, Dec. 20. The Orange will face former BIG EAST rival and seventh-ranked Villanova at the Wells Fargo Center at 1 p.m.

What to Watch For – Syracuse (6-3)
1. Sophomore Tyler Roberson provided a spark off the bench in Syracuse's victory against Louisiana Tech. Roberson posted his second double-double of the season with 14 points and 17 rebounds. Both are career highs. He pulled down a personal-best 11 offensive rebounds, helping the Orange to a 40-30 advantage on the boards.
2. Redshirt junior Trevor Cooney had one of his best performances as a member of the Orange in Syracuse's victory against the Bulldogs. He was 4-for-8 from three-point range and 5-for-5 from the free throw line on his way to a season-high 25 points. Cooney also showed a different side of his game, as he drove to the basket on several occasions.
3. Syracuse ranks third in the ACC and 29th in the nation in scoring defense. The Orange is allowing 57.3 points per game this season. In the conference rankings, only Virginia (48.1) and Louisville (52.9) are giving up fewer points.

What to Watch For – Villanova (10-0)
1. Villanova is one of nine Division I schools that remain unbeaten this season. The Wildcats are tied for 10th in the nation in scoring margin, outscoring their opponents by an average of 19.4 points.
2. Dylan Ennis leads a balanced offensive attack for Villanova, averaging 12.3 points per game. Darrun Hilliard (11.6 ppg.) and Josh Hart (10.1 ppg.) are also averaging double figures in scoring. Daniel Ochefu leads the team in rebounding, pulling down 7.1 per game.
3. Head coach Jay Wright is in his 14th season at the helm of the Villanova program. He is the reigning BIG EAST Coach of the Year after guiding the Wildcats to the 2013-14 regular-season title. Under Wright's guidance, Villanova has advanced to the NCAA Tournament nine times in the last 10 years.

THE SERIES
Saturday's game marks the 72nd meeting between the two schools. Syracuse holds a 39-32 advantage in the series. The Orange has won four of the last five meetings, including a 78-62 victory last season in the Carrier Dome. In that game, Trevor Cooney was 5-for-8 from three-point range and led Syracuse with 21 points.
