SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse welcomes longtime rival St. John's back to the Carrier Dome on Saturday, Dec. 6. The teams tip off at 5:15 p.m. The Red Storm will make its first appearance in the Dome since February 2013 and only its second appearance since the 2009-10 campaign.

Tickets for Saturday's game are available online, by phone (1-888-DOMETIX) or in person at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B). The game will be televised on ESPN2. Fans not in attendance can listen to the action on the Syracuse IMG Radio Network and its flagship TK99 (99.5 FM). Live audio will be available on CuseTV on Cuse.com. SPORT MANAGEMENT CHARITY AUCTION SET FOR SATURDAY
Fans are encouraged to arrive early for Saturday's game to take part in the 10th Annual Charity Sports Auction, hosted and run by the Sport Management (SPM) Club at Syracuse University. The auction will benefit the Make-A-Wish Central New York. All fans can shop in the backcourt for unique and personal gifts by bidding on hundreds of items collected by the SPM Club, the student-run organization in the Falk College's Sport Management Department.

What to Watch For – Syracuse (5-2)
1. Syracuse's defense ranks among the best in the nation. In the latest NCAA statistics, the Orange ranks 12th in the country in scoring defense, allowing 54.0 points per game. Top-ranked Kentucky is allowing 44.6 points per game this season, which leads the nation.
2. Chris McCullough's three double-doubles this season tie him for the second-highest total by a freshman in the nation. UCLA's Kevon Looney has five double-doubles this season, while McCullough and Austin Peay rookie Chris Horton both have three doubles-doubles so far this season.
3. Redshirt junior Trevor Cooney scored a season-high 16 points in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge at Michigan. Cooney was 4-for-9 from three-point range and 4-for-4 from the free throw line. He also added two assists and three rebounds.

What to Watch For – St. John's (5-1)
1. The Red Storm is coming off a 70-57 victory against Niagara on Tuesday. St. John's participated in the NIT Season Tip-Off Tournament. It advanced to the championship game where it lost to Gonzaga, 73-66, for its only setback of the season.
2. D'Angelo Harrison leads a balanced scoring attack for St. John's. He's averaging 17.5 points per game. Rysheed Jordan (16.0), Sir'Domini Pointer (10.7) and Phil Green IV (10.7) are also averaging double digits in scoring. Harrison leads the squad in rebounding (9.0 rpg.), while Jordan has dished out a team-best 21 assists.
3. Steve Lavin is in his fifth season at the helm of the St. John's program. He has guided the Red Storm to one NCAA Tournament appearance and two appearances in the NIT. Previously, Lavin served as the head coach at UCLA.

THE SERIES
Saturday's game marks the 88th all-time meeting between Syracuse and St. John's. The Orange owns a 51-37 advantage in the series. Last season, the two met as non-conference foes in Madison Square Garden. C.J. Fair and Tyler Ennis scored 21 points apiece to lead Syracuse to a 68-63 victory.
