Safety Durell Eskridge decides to forgo his final year of eligibility and enter the NFL Draft
Senior safety Durell Eskridge has decided to forgo his final year of collegiate eligibility and enter the 2015 NFL Draft.
Eskridge, who finished his career 15th in program history in tackles by a defensive back in just three seasons, led the 'Cuse secondary in the category this season with 68.

"Durell has been a pleasure to coach and to have in our program," said Syracuse head coach Scott Shafer. "We, his Syracuse family, are excited for Durell and wish him continued success in this next step in his life."
A starter in every game this season, Eskridge earned ACC Defensive Back of the Week honors for his performance against Notre Dame, which included nine tackles, a fumble recovery and a 29-yard interception return for a touchdown.
The Miami, Florida native earned All-ACC Third Team honors in 2013 after leading the Orange in tackles and interceptions as a sophomore.
