SYRACUSE, N.Y. - While the snow continues to fall in Central New York, signs of spring are already in the air at the Archbold and Flanagan gyms. The Syracuse men's rowing team has been hard at work all winter as it prepares for its spring racing season.
Head coach Dave Reischman's Orange went on a training trip to Florida in early January, and since then has been training on the ergs and tanks that comprise the program's exceptional indoor training facilities. The crew will head to Clemson, S.C. in March for a spring training trip before kicking off the season on March 29 at Princeton against the host Tigers and Georgetown.
