Ennis Buzzer-Beater Voted “Must See Moment”

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The fans have spoken and freshman Tyler Ennis' near half-court buzzer-beater against Pittsburgh on Feb. 12 was voted as the 2013-14 Basketball Must See Moment of the Year by the ACC Digital network on Tuesday, March 25.

"It's a great honor to have that play selected by the fans, considering all the amazing plays that happened in the ACC," said Ennis.

With Syracuse trailing 56-55 and only 4.4 seconds remaining on the clock, Ennis weaved his way up the court and let his shot fly from two steps inside the half-court line to give the Orange an improbable 58-56 victory and push SU's record to 24-0 at the time.

North Carolina's Allisha Gray spin in the lane and layup was voted the ACC Must See Moment of the Year on the women's side.

The ACC Digital Network Must See Moment of the Year is a year-long campaign, highlighting the athletes responsible for making these exciting memories across all ACC sports and giving fans the chance to vote for the Must See Moment of the Year. The next fan vote will take place on theACC.com in May for the 2013-14 Olympic Sports category.
