
Mikey Powell to Perform at Lacrosse Doubleheader

Syracuse men's and women's lacrosse hosts North Carolina in the Dome Saturday
Two-time Tewaaraton Award winner Mikey Powell returns to the Carrier Dome this Saturday for two musical performances as part of Syracuse's men's and women's lacrosse doubleheader with North Carolina. Powell will perform prior to the opening draw between the No.3 Orange and defending national champion and No. 1-ranked Tar Heels at 3 p.m. The second game of the doubleheader features the No. 7 SU men's squad against No. 4 North Carolina at 6 p.m.
Fans will have a chance to win prizes and contests throughout the women's game. Halftime will feature a contest for a car giveaway from Summit Car & Truck Center as well as a second performance by Powell. Fans can register for the contest at Gate B. STX will have a display in the concourse throughout both contests featuring its newest products, and members of the Syracuse women's team will sign autographs between games.
The doubleheader will feature four of the top teams in the nation. The Syracuse women's team enters Saturday's game with a 12-1 overall record and a 4-1 mark in ACC action. The Tar Heels are also 12-1, including a 5-0 record in league play. The Orange men's lacrosse team is 7-3 this season and 1-3 in the ACC, while North Carolina is 9-2 overall, 2-2 in conference action.
Individual tickets for Syracuse women's lacrosse games are $5. The Carrier Dome will charge for a women's ticket through halftime of the first game of the doubleheader and then will charge for a men's ticket ($10 for adults, $5 for ages 12 and under).
