
Fair Garners Senior CLASS All-American Status

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - Senior C.J. Fair was selected a Second-Team All-American by the Senior CLASS Award, as annouced by the organization on Thursday, April 3.
Fair was one of 10 finalists up for the award, which was given to Creighton's Doug McDermott.
To be eligible for the award, a student-athletes must have been an NCAA Division I senior while excelling in four areas – community, classroom, character and competition. An acronym for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School®, the Senior CLASS Award focuses on the total student-athlete and encourages students to use their platform in athletics to make a positive impact as leaders in their communities.
Fair wrapped up his senior season earning All-American status from numerous media outlets, including second team recognition by the Associated Press, USA Today, U.S. Basketball Writers Association and the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
Fair led the Orange in his senior campaign with 16.5 point per game and was a close second with 6.4 rebounds per contest. He scored in double-figures in 32-of-34 outings and posted four double-doubles. Fair completed his collegiate career ranking 15th all-time in scoring at SU with 1,660 points and tied for third in games played with 143.
Off the court, Fair is pursuing a degree in child and family studies in the David B. Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics. He has been active in the local community since beginning his four-year career at Syracuse, donating his time to the Make a Wish Foundation and the Boys and Girls Club.
