Spring Game Kicks Off 2014 Orange Season

The 2014 Syracuse football season gets underway on Saturday, April 19 with the annual Spring game at the Carrier Dome. All Orange fans are invited to enjoy a fun-filled day at the Dome that includes promotional giveaways, an opportunity to 'Select A Seat' for the 2014 season, a team poster, and a free hot dog and soda.
Head coach Scott Shafer will wear a wireless microphone throughout the afternoon to provide insight about what is happening on the field. During the game a lucky fan will be selected to attempt and make a field goal to win a pair of 2014 football season tickets.
In addition, the Syracuse Marching Band, Orange spirit squad and Otto will perform throughout the event. Following the game, fans are invited onto the Dome field for a 30 minute autograph session with the team and an opportunity for kids to enjoy inflatable games.
The Carrier Dome will open at 10 am and the team will take the field at 11:30 am for pre-game stretch and warmup. The Spring game begins at 1 pm. There is no admission charge and parking is free in all Stadium West lots. Coupons for the free hot dog and soda will be distributed at the Carrier Dome gates. The offer is available while supplies last.
All 2014 season ticket holders, including those who purchase tickets on April 19 at the Dome, are invited to sit in sections 101 and 116, which will be reserved for this group.
The annual 'Select-A-Seat' event gives fans the opportunity to walk the Dome and choose the best available location for 2014 season tickets. A sampling of available seats will be marked in each section, and members from the Carrier Dome Box Office will be on hand to assist with the selection process and to answer any questions.
The 2014 Spring game will be televised live by Time Warner Cable Sports.
All Orange fans are invited to purchase or renew 2014 Syracuse football season tickets, which start at $99, or purchase a three-game package that includes Villanova, Florida State and a third home game in the Dome of the fan's choice ($125 per package). In addition, discounted group tickets (20+), with prices as low as $10 each, are available for all home games. Tickets can be purchased via the internet (Cuse.com), telephone (888-DOMETIX), or by visiting the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B).
