Treanor, Murray and Mock named to All-America team.
Post-season honors continue to come in for members of the Syracuse women's lacrosse team. Womenslax.com has named sophomore Kayla Treanor its Player of the Year. Treanor and seniors Alyssa Murray and Kasey Mock were named to the All-America team.
Treanor scored a single-season school record 79 goals and finished with 117 points, which is the second-highest total in program history. She earned the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Offensive Player of the Year award and was a first-team All-ACC selection. Treanor recorded her 100th career goal faster than any Syracuse player and is the first sophomore to surpass 200 career points.
Murray finished her career ranked second on Syracuse's all-time scoring list with 362 points. She also ranks third in career goals (226) and assists (136). Murray is one of only two players in program history to record 300 points, 200 goals and 100 assists in her career. She tallied 110 points in 2014, surpassing the 100-point plateau for the third consecutive year. Murray was an All-ACC First Team honoree.
Mock anchored Syracuse's defense which held its opponents to less than 10 goals in 14 games. She led the team with 30 caused turnovers, which is the fifth-highest total in school history. Mock also picked up 42 ground balls and scored her first career goal in 2014. She was named to the All-ACC Second Team.
