Hickey Named to Preseason All-ACC Team

Senior already on a pair of preseason watch lists
GREENSBORO, N.C. - Senior offensive tackle Sean Hickey was named to the Preseason All-ACC Team, released by the Atlantic Coast Conference on Wednesday, July 23. The 26-man squad was selected by media members who attended the ACC Football Kickoff at the Grandover Resort on July 20-21.

The anchor of the Orange's offensive line, Hickey has started 26 straight contests and enters his third year as a starter up front. Hickey earned All-ACC Honorable Mention honors in 2013 and he is a member of the 2014 watch lists for the Rotary Lombardi Award and Outland Trophy.
Syracuse opens the season at home Friday, Aug. 29 against Villanova. Season tickets, which start at $99, and the three-game package that includes Villanova, Florida State and a third home game in the Dome of the fan's choice ($125 per package) are available now online (www.Cuse.com), by phone (888-DOMETIX), at Destiny USA kiosks and at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B).
