Orange To Host Greyhounds

SYRACUSE, NY – Syracuse and Loyola (Md.) will meet for the first time on the hardwood when the Greyhounds come to the Carrier Dome for a November 25 matchup.
Loyola is coming off an 11-19 campaign. G.G. Smith, the son of Texas Tech Coach Tubby Smith, is in his second season as head coach with Loyola. He was an assistant with the Greyhounds before being appointed head coach in April 2013.
SU earned its sixth consecutive NCAA Tournament berth and finished with a 28-5 overall record, last season. The Orange won 25 straight games to start the season and was ranked first in both national polls for three weeks.
Coach Jim Boeheim, owner of the second most coaching victories in Division 1 history (948), will guide his alma mater for the 39th season.
Deposits for 2014-15 Men's Basketball season tickets are on sale now for only $125 each, and provide priority seating before the general public on-sale which starts on September 3. Individual game tickets will go on sale in mid-October.
