The challenge is a 16-week program, consisting of a 12-week regular season and four-week playoff. Otto will compete in weekly head-to-head match-ups against another school's mascot, with the winner determined by which tallies the most points that week. Match-ups will be announced every Monday morning, along with "challenges" for the fans, beginning on Aug. 25.
Participants:
Mascot points are completely determined by the fans. Points can be earned by uploading photos and/or videos and responding to "challenges" issued by Otto that week via social media at CapitalOneMascots.com.
An example weekly "challenge" might be, "What's your mascot's favorite tailgating game?" Orange fans can then upload a photo/video of them playing their favorite tailgating game in their 'Cuse gear, earning Otto points!
After uploading, your photos/videos may be featured on Capital One's gallery (launching soon), as well as at Cuse.com's Social Stadium!
