SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Syracuse University Director of Athletics Dr. Daryl Gross has announced the hiring of David Wishart '07 as executive director for athletic development. A former track and field student-athlete for the Orange, he most recently worked in regional development for the University.
"I am thrilled to be able to continue my career at my alma mater and especially excited to be joining the athletic department that I was once a part of as a student-athlete," Wishart said. "I would like to thank Dr. Gross, Dr. Baumgartner and Deborah Armstrong for this tremendous opportunity and I look forward to working with the amazing staff already in place in helping to take the Orange to new heights."
In his new post, Wishart is responsible for the creation and implementation of all athletic fundraising efforts.
