Orange return eight of top-10 point producers from last season
The Syracuse hockey team was picked to finish fourth in College Hockey America by the coaches, the league announced on Thursday.
Robert Morris and Mercyhurst (21 points each) were picked as the league's favorites, while RIT (20 points) was selected third.
The Orange had 13 points and were followed by Penn State (8 points) and Lindenwood (7 points).
The Orange finished 20-14-3 last season and return 17 student-athletes, including eight of its top-10 point producers from last season.
The poll was comprised of the conference's six head coaches.
