Preseason softball workouts and practices are in full swing and the team is excited for its season opener
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -Â With opening day just around the corner, February 6, Coach Ross has her softball team excited and ready for the season with its eye on the NCAA Tournament. Syracuse will be led by captains Corinne Ozanne, Julie Wambold and Mary Dombrowski this season.
The Orange is missing six student-athletes from last year's roster due to graduation and transfers but with six departures brings six arrivals and the coaches and upperclassmen couldn't be more pleased with this year's additions to the team. With a talented, versatile freshman class and the core of last year's squad, 'Cuse believes it can make waves in the ACC and make it back to the NCAA Tournament.
