
Time Warner Tips Off Orange Hoops Coverage

Syracuse, NY (October 13, 2015) – Time Warner Cable SportsChannel, the local TV home of Syracuse University Athletics, will tip off the Syracuse men's and women's 2015-16 basketball season with live coverage of "Orange Madness" this Friday at 7 p.m. The event will feature men's and women's basketball scrimmages, a 3-point shooting contest, a dunk contest, plus player and coach's interviews. Brendan McDaniels will handle the play-by-play duties, former Syracuse Basketball star Roosevelt Bouie will serve as analyst, and Danny Liedka will report courtside.
The #OrangeMadness action will also be streamed live online via Cuse.tv and the Syracuse Athletics app.
Time Warner Cable SportsChannel will also televise two Orange men's exhibition games this year. Live game coverage will include the Orange men's preseason matchup versus LeMoyne on Monday, November 2 at 7:00 p.m. Time Warner Cable SportsChannel will also air the Sunday, November 8 preseason game versus Florida Southern at 2:00 p.m. Play-by-play will be handled by Mark Larson, with former Syracuse great Roosevelt Bouie serving as color analyst.
All season long, Time Warner Cable SportsChannel will provide complete pre and post-game analysis of all Syracuse Men's ACC Conference basketball games, beginning with its conference matchup against Pittsburgh on December 30. Game day coverage begins with "Cuse Pregame" live from the Carrier Dome before each SU home ACC-game, and wraps up with post-game analysis after all ACC games on "Orange Overtime," featuring Brendan McDaniels and Roosevelt Bouie, along former University of Rochester and Hobart coach Mike Neer. In addition, the network will air "Syracuse Sidelines", the weekly Syracuse Coach's show featuring head coach Jim Boeheim that offers insight to all the Syracuse basketball action, including game previews and behind the scenes features. The program, which is hosted by the voice of the Orange, Matt Park, and Robin De Wind, will debut December 3 with live streaming coverage at Cuse.tv.
Time Warner Cable SportsChannel will also provide in-depth coverage of the Syracuse Women's basketball team, which is coming off its third straight NCAA Tournament appearance. The Orange returns 2014-15 All-ACC honoree Alexis Peterson and the nation's active career 3-point field goals made leader Brianna Butler. Head coach Quentin Hillsman enters his 10th season at the helm and his 200th career win in sight.
