After two wins over ranked opponents this weekend, Syracuse student-athletes swept the ACC Players of the Week honors.
Senior midfielder Alma Fenne and freshman back Roos Weers earned ACC Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week respectively.
Fenne served as the catalyst in Syracuse's offensive outburst in a 6-0 win over No. 6 Wake Forest on Saturday, netting three goals and an assist in the first half against the Demon Deacons.
Weers helped anchor a 'Cuse defense that allowed just three shots against Wake Forest in the shutout, then assisted on the game-tying and scored the go-ahead goal in a win over No. 19 Princeton on Sunday.
The No. 1 Orange will conclude its regular season on Saturday at No. 4 Duke. Action will get underway at 1 p.m. and be broadcast on ESPN3.
