Orange No. 1 for Fourth-Straight Week

Following a 1-0 overtime win at No. 4 Duke to cap off a perfect regular season, the Orange remained at No. 1 in the Penn Monto/NFHCA Coaches Poll for the fourth-consecutive week.

'Cuse leads the always ACC-heavy poll, with four teams in the top-five and all-seven programs ranked in the top-12 once again.

Syracuse received 36 of the 45 first place votes (886 points) and sits ahead of the lone other undefeated team UConn (845 points, nine first-place votes). North Carolina (776 points), Duke (726 points) and Wake Forest (680 points) rounds out the top-five.

The Orange are also No. 1 in the RPI and will embark on its quest for an ACC Championship on Friday, Nov. 6, when Syracuse takes on the winner of the 4-seed Virginia and 5-seed Duke at 1 p.m. in Charlottesville, Va. That game will be broadcast on RSN and ESPN3.

Tickets are available online through VirginiaSports.com for $5 for adults and $3 for youth. Tickets will also be available at the game but can only be purchased using cash.
