Syracuse and Louisville will meet for the first time since the 2013 BIG EAST Tournament final.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse and Louisville meet for the first time as ACC foes when the No. 12/12 Cardinals visit the Carrier Dome on Wednesday, Feb. 18 at 7 p.m. It marks the second straight game against an opponent ranked in the top 15 for the Orange.

Tickets for Wednesday's game are available online, by phone (1-888-DOMETIX) or in person at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B). The game will be televised on ESPN and ESPN3. Fans not in attendance can listen to the action on the Syracuse IMG Radio Network and its flagship TK99 (99.5 FM). Live audio will be available on CuseTV on Cuse.com. SAAC SPONSORS SHOE DRIVE
Syracuse Athletics invites all of Orange Nation to join our student-athletes in supporting the Rescue Mission of Syracuse by taking part in a shoe drive on Wednesday. Bring your gently used shoes to the game where donation collection boxes will be located in the Fan-Zone backcourt area at the Carrier Dome. The event is being organized by the Syracuse Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

What to Watch For – Syracuse (16-9, 7-5)
1. In his last three games, junior Michael Gbinije is averaging 23.7 points per game. During that stretch he is shooting 67.5 percent (27-for-40) from the field and 58.8 percent (10-for-17) from three-point range. Gbinije hit a career-best five three pointers on his way to a career-high 27 points against Duke.
2. Sophomore Tyler Roberson tallied a career-high 19 points against Duke. He was 8-for-14 from the field and 3-for-7 from the free throw line. Roberson also pulled down 10 rebounds for his fifth career double-double. He currently ranks 11th in the ACC in rebounding (7.2 rpg.) and ninth in offensive rebounds (2.77).
3. Senior Rakeem Christmas needs to score 53 points in the next six games to become the 59th member of the Orange to record 1,000 career points. He enters Wednesday's game with 947 points. Christmas has played in 136 games in his Syracuse career, which tie him for 10th on Syracuse's career record list.

What to Watch For – Louisville (20-5, 8-4)
1. Louisville has lost two of its last three after a 74-65 setback against NC State last Saturday at the KFC Yum! Center. The Cardinals are ranked No. 12 in both the coaches and media polls and are tied for fourth place in the ACC standings with North Carolina.
2. Syracuse will face one of the top scorers and rebounders in the ACC when it takes on Louisville. Sophomore Terry Rozier leads the team and ranks third in the league in scoring, averaging 18.0 points per game, while junior Montrezl Harrell is third in rebounding, pulling down 9.3 per game. The Cardinals lead the ACC in blocked shots (5.92 bpg.) and steals (8.48 spg.) and rank second in the conference in scoring defense (59.0).
3. Rick Pitino is in his 13th season at the helm of the Louisville program. He guided the Cardinals to the 2013 national championship and became the first coach in NCAA history to win a title at two different schools. Pitino was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2013.

THE SERIES
Louisville leads the all-time series with Syracuse, 15-7. The Cardinals won seven straight games against the Orange from 2007-11 before Syracuse ran off three straight victories from 2012-13. Louisville has won the last two meetings.
