McCullough To Enter Draft

Freshman forward Chris McCullough, who started 16 games before an injury cut short his rookie season, has announced his intention to put his name into the 2015 NBA Draft.
"We appreciate the contributions Chris made to our program during his time at Syracuse University," said Coach Jim Boeheim. "We wish him the best in his future endeavors."
McCullough is on track to complete the spring semester in good academic standing at Syracuse.
He began his first collegiate season as part of Syracuse's starting lineup, a role he held on to for the first 16 games. A knee injury, suffered on January 11 against Florida State, required surgery and ended McCullough's rookie campaign.
McCullough averaged 9.3 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.1 blocks, 1.7 steals and 28.1 minutes per contest. The Orange was 12-4 with McCullough in the lineup.
He had an impressive debut against Kennesaw State, posting 16 points and 11 rebounds. He later contributed double-doubles against Holy Cross (14 points-13 rebounds) and Michigan (10-12).Â
