
Syracuse's Johnson Closes Career Due to Injury

Syracuse defensive lineman Isaiah Johnson (Newcastle, Del.) will not be able to continue his intercollegiate athletics career with the Orange. Syracuse Athletics team physician Dr. James Tucker reviewed Johnson's concussion history and has medically disqualified Johnson from further physical participation in football and/or any other contact sports at Syracuse University due to multiple concussions as of April 2015.

The two-year letterwinner and rising junior  played in 23 games for the Orange, recording 10 tackles, including 3.5 tackles for a loss of yards. He had two and a half sacks, one interception and one forced fumble.
Tickets for the 2015 season are available online, by phone (888-DOMETIX), at Destiny USA kiosks and at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B). In addition, discounted group tickets (20+), with prices as low as $10 each, are available for all home games by calling the Ticket Sales office (443-3212).
