Orange Takes on Huskies in Final Exhibition

STORRS, Conn. – No. 15 Syracuse has its final tune up for the 2015 season on Saturday, Aug. 22 when it takes on RV Connecticut in Storrs, Conn. Match time is set for 7 p.m.

The Orange has split its first two exhibition games. Syracuse is coming off a 1-0 victory against Buffalo. Freshman Andreas Jenssen scored in the 50th minute on an assist from senior Noah Rhynhart for the game's only goal. Freshman goalkeeper Austin Aviza recorded five saves in the shutout. In its exhibition opener, No. 3 Georgetown defeated Syracuse, 3-0.

The Orange opens the 2015 season with a pair of road matches. Syracuse takes on Hofstra on Friday, Aug. 28 before facing Bucknell on Sunday, Aug. 30. Both matches are slated for 7 p.m. starts.
