Tickets start at $99 for SU's six home games
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The 2016 season marks Dino Babers' first year as the head coach of the Orange football team, and season tickets for his inaugural campaign are on sale now. This year's home schedule features six games at the Carrier Dome, including four Atlantic Coast Conference contests, and two against teams ranked in ESPN's 2016 Way-Too-Early Top 25.   Â
Â
Season tickets start at $99 ($16.50 per game) with lower-level seats available for as little as $125. Fans are invited to purchase their tickets online, by phone (1-888-DOMETIX), or in-person at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B).
Â
Babers makes his Dome debut on Friday, Sept. 2 when the Orange hosts Colgate in their season opener. Syracuse also welcomes non-conference foe USF to the Dome Sept. 17.
Â
The home ACC schedule features a Friday night showdown with Louisville on Sept. 9. The Cardinals are No. 24 in ESPN's early college football rankings. The Orange also host league rivals Virginia Tech (Oct. 15), NC State (Nov. 12) and Florida State (Nov. 19). Jimbo Fisher's Seminoles are expected to be a top-10 team when the season starts.
Syracuse will hold its first 'Select-A-Seat' event on Saturday, April 2 prior to this year's spring game, which begins at 11 a.m. Fans will have the opportunity to walk the Dome and choose the best available locations for 2016 season tickets. A sampling of available seats will be marked in each section and members from the Carrier Dome Box Office will be on hand to assist with the selection process and answer any questions.
Â
Football season ticket renewals are also currently being accepted. The deadline for 2015 season ticket holders to renew their seats is April 29. An email and letter detailing the renewal process was sent in early February.
