Butler Makes WNBA Preseason Debut

Butler knocks down one 3-pointer and pulls down a board
PASADENA, Calif. – Former Syracuse University women's basketball player Brianna Butler made her WNBA preseason debut with the Los Angeles Sparks on Saturday afternoon. Butler helped Los Angeles to an 88-80 victory against the Atlanta Dream.
Butler played 12 minutes in her debut for the Sparks. The Orange's all-time leader in career 3-point field goals made, Butler knocked down one shot from beyond the arc on Saturday. She also pulled down one rebound in the win.
The King of Prussia, Pa. native is back on action on Monday night when Los Angeles takes on the San Antonio Stars on the road. Syracuse all-time leading scorer Kayla Alexander is in her fourth season with San Antonio. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. EST at the AT&T Center in San Antonio.
