
Manley Set for Champions Trophy Matches

Alyssa Manley is set to participate in one of the world's premiere field hockey events with the U.S. Women's National Team in London.
The 2015 Honda Award recipient will begin play in the Champions Trophy with the USWNT on Saturday at Noon local time (7 a.m. eastern) against Australia. The Champions Trophy is a six-team tournament featuring six nations currently ranked in the top-seven of the FIH rankings.
The U.S. team will square off against Argentina on June 19, The Netherlands on June 21, host nation Great Britain on June 23 and New Zealand on June 25 to close out preliminary play. The championship will take place on June 26.
Manley, who has over-25 caps under her belt with the U.S. national team, concluded her career as one of the most decorated student-athletes in program history. In addition to the Honda Award, she claimed ACC Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2015 and is a three-time NFHCA All-American.
