BU Back In The Dome After 23-Season Absence

SYRACUSE, NY – Syracuse has scheduled a December 10 men's basketball encounter with Boston University, marking the Terriers first appearance in the Dome since 1993.
Syracuse has a 6-1 advantage in the series with Boston University. The most recent pairing between the two programs came in the 1993 Carrier Classic, a matchup which resulted in an 89-70 Orange victory. The series began in the 1946-47 season.
The Terriers were 19-15 overall and 11-7 in the Patriot League a year ago. Boston University earned a spot in the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament and defeated Fordham before losing to NJIT in the second round.
Terrier coach Joe Jones is in his sixth season at the helm. He has guided Boston University to a 89-72 record during his tenure.
Boston University returns senior guard Eric Fanning, who averaged a squad-best 15.9 points per game a season ago. Junior guard Cheddi Mosely (14.2 ppg.) is also back on the roster.
Syracuse reached its sixth NCAA Final Four last year, capping off a 23-14 campaign.
