Men’s Rowing Finishes 14th at Head of the Charles

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Syracuse men's rowing team finished 14th in the championship eight event at the Head of the Charles Sunday afternoon. It marked the second straight year that the team competed at the world's largest two-day regatta.
The Orange covered the course in 14:02.738, beating out Eastern Association of Rowing Colleges (EARC) foes Penn, Navy, Columbia and Holy Cross. Syracuse finished 12th among American colleges in the event.
Head coach Dave Reischman's crew consisted of coxswain Dominic Santora, Noah Messner, Nick Tavares, Alexander Douglas, Kyle Leimeister, Kenneth Hubbard, Matthew Barni, Mike Glaude, and Sam Busco.
Syracuse will be back in action on Sunday, Oct. 29 at the Princeton Chase.
