2018 Softball Schedule Released

2018 Schedule
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The 2018 Syracuse softball schedule has been released. Head coach Mike Bosch announced the schedule, which features six opponents from the 2017 NCAA tournament, including LSU, Utah, UCLA, Florida State, Notre Dame and North Carolina.

Along with the Seminoles, Fighting Irish and Tar Heels, the Orange will face Virginia Tech, Virginia, Boston College, Louisville and NC State in Atlantic Coast Conference play. Four of the eight conference series will be hosted at Skytop Softball Stadium.

Syracuse opens up the season in Baton Rouge, La. and is scheduled to play UT Arlington, UMass, Southern Miss and LSU in the Tiger Classic.

The Orange travel to Palm Springs, Calif. the following weekend to face Utah, Sacramento State, Grand Canyon, UCLA and Cal Poly at the Mary Nutter Classic.
Â
'Cuse will then travel to Houston, Texas to compete in the Houston Classic. The Orange will see UNLV, Yale, UTSA and Houston over the course of the three-day tournament.

Syracuse concludes tournament play in Fairfax, Va. at the Patriot Classic. 'Cuse will face George Mason, Army and Monmouth.

Aside from conference and tournament play, the Orange hosts four Wednesday double-headers in April against Canisius, Siena, Niagara and Colgate. Syracuse also travels to Binghamton for a double-header.

The Orange schedule rounds out with road games at Elon and Cornell.
