GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- No. 5/6 Syracuse plays the second contest on its three-game road trip on Tuesday, March 14 at No. 3/3 Florida. Opening draw in Gainesville is set for 1 p.m.

ORANGE VS. RANKED OPPONENTS
Syracuse will face its fourth ranked opponent this season when it takes on the Gators and its second straight top-five ranked team. The Orange are 2-1 against ranked opponents this season.

WALLON CONTRIBUTES ON BOTH ENDS OF THE FIELD
Sophomore Natalie Wallon (Waxhaw, N.C.) has recorded career highs in every statistical category after just eight games this season. She is one of six members of the Orange to reach double figures in goals with 10. In addition, Wallon leads the team with 14 caused turnovers and 21 ground balls to go along with eight draw controls.

SCOUTING THE GATORS
Florida enters Tuesday's game with a 5-1 record. After starting the season with a 13-10 loss to defending national champion North Carolina, the Gators have won five in a row.

Four players have recorded 20 or more points for the third-highest scoring offense in the nation. Florida is averaging 16.0 goals per game. Sammi Burgess leads the way with 28 points, while Mollie Stevens (25 pts.), Shayna Pirreca (24 pts.) and Sydney Pirreca (22 pts.) are right behind.

Hayley Hicklen has started all six games in goal for the Gators. She has a 9.50 goals-against average and a .481 save percentage.

SERIES HISTORY
Tuesday's game marks the ninth all-time meeting between the two schools. The Orange have won five of the eight previous meetings. Last season, the teams met in the Carrier Dome. A late goal by Syracuse tied the game at 10-10, sending it to overtime. A turnover by the Orange just outside their offensive zone led to a goal by Florida as it posted the 11-10 victory.
