Alexander Guides CJM Bourges Basket to Title

Alexander notched 13 points in the Coupe de France de Basket final
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Former Syracuse women's basketball student-athlete Kayla Alexander '13 helped CJM Bourges Basket to the 2017 Coupe de France de Basket title on April 22. The Coupe de France de Basket is the annual national basketball competition of France.
Alexander, the Orange women's basketball program's all-time leading scorer, notched 13 points in the team's 75-65 victory against Flammes Carolo Basket. The Milton, Ontario native and CJM Bourges Basket will return to the court on Wednesday when they take on Basket Lattes in the first game of the Ligue Féminine de Basketball semifinals.
Following the completion of the 2016-17 Ligue Féminine de Basketball season, Alexander will join the San Antonio Stars for her fifth WNBA campaign. Briana Day, Syracuse's all-time leader in rebounds, is currently in training camp with San Antonio, as well.
