Full All-America Selections
'Cuse has had at least four All-Americans selected each year since 2012.
Salcido, who was named ACC Offensive Player of the Year, selected to the All-ACC Team and was a Tewaaraton Award Semifinalist, led the team in scoring with 51 points and finished the year with the third-most assists by a Syracuse midfielder in a season (33). He concludes his career with back-to-back 50-point seasons and two of the top-nine assist totals in a single season by a 'Cuse midfielder. Also a team captain, Salcido buried 18 goals on the year, including game winners against North Carolina and Virginia and collected 17 ground balls, caused five turnovers.
Mariano, another All-ACC Team selection and Tewaaraton Award Semifinalist, was the top goal scorer this season for Syracuse, tallying 34 goals and finishing second with 50 points. He led the team with three game-winning goals, caused three turnovers and collected nine ground balls from the Orange midfield. Mariano is the 13th member of the Orange since 1967 to lead the team in goals in back-to-back seasons.
Firman, who switched from LSM to close defense this season, became the Orange's top cover defenseman, holding the opponents' top attackman to a full point per game below their season average all season. An All-ACC Team honoree, team captain and Senior CLASS Award Finalist, Firman caused a team-high 16 turnovers, ending his career fifth on the program's all-time caused turnover list (47).
Ciferri, another team captain, led the Orange transition game this season, helping the Orange finish with their best clearing percentage in program history (.919), and leading the transition offense with four goals and an assist, including the game-tying goal at North Carolina to force overtime with under a minute to play. Ciferri also helped lead a defense that allowed 10.06 goals per game.
