SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse University Women's Basketball team wraps up its two-game home stand against Clemson in the Carrier Dome on Jan. 25. Coming off a 70-52 victory over Pitt, the Orange are looking to move to .500 in conference play and continue their 11-game home win streak that dates back to Feb. 23, 2017. The game will tip-off at 7 p.m. and will be available to stream on the ACC Network Extra.
Syracuse (15-5, 2-3 in the Atlantic Coast Conference) is currently one of only nine teams left in NCAA Division I that are 10-0 or better at home this season. 'Cuse saw a season-high 8,126 fans in attendance for last Sunday's 70-52 win over Pittsburgh marking the second highest attended game in Carrier Dome history.
Against Pittsburgh, the Orange were paced by Amaya Finklea-Guity and Tiana Mangakahia who each scored 14 points. Jasmine Nwajei had a game-high nine rebounds in 16 minutes off the bench. Digna Strautmane and Gabrielle Cooper also scored in double figures for the Orange giving 'Cuse back-to-back games with four players in double figures.
Tiana Mangakahia, the nation's leader in assists, is fresh off a 14-point and seven-rebound performance against the Panthers. She also leads the nation with 10.2 assists per game and became the third Orange in program history to amass 200 assists in a season last Sunday. She leads the team with 17.5 points per game and is tied for 14th in Division I for double-doubles this year.
Clemson is looking to rebound after a 90-37 loss at No. 5 Notre Dame last Sunday. Junior guard Danielle Edwards is averaging 10.1 points and 2.3 assists per game for the Tigers while sophomore Kobi Thomton averages 9.7 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. Clemson has allowed opponents to shoot 36 percent from the field and held them to 27.7 percent from 3-point range, which rank 30th and 28th in the nation, respectfully. The Tigers also rank 36th in the nation in scoring defense with 57.6 points per game allowed.
SERIES HISTORY
Syracuse is 6-0 all-time against the Tigers with a 3-0 mark at home. In the last meeting the Orange earned an 88-62 victory on Jan. 5, 2017 which was head coach Coach Quentin Hillsman's 230th victory. Briana Day led the way with 22 points. In all six meetings, the Orange have outscored the Tigers by an average of 11.6 points per game.
HOME COURT ADVANTAGE
Syracuse holds one of the strongest home court advantages in the nation. Prior to its loss against Notre Dame on Feb. 19, the team had won 18 consecutive home games, setting a new program record. Syracuse won 16 straight home contests from March 1, 2010 – Jan. 8, 2011.

Under head coach Quentin Hillsman, the Orange own an 87-4 overall record against non-conference opposition at home. Prior to its loss against Arizona State on Dec. 12, 2015, SU had won 72 non-conference home games in a row, which was the longest active streak in the nation.
Since the 2006-07 season, Syracuse has played its home contests inside the friendly confines of the Carrier Dome. The Orange own a 140-40 (.777) overall record in the Loud House during that time.
The Orange are currently 10-0 at home this season, including an upset win over No. 11/12 Florida State. Of the nine NCAA Division I teams that are 10-0 or better at home three are in the ACC; Syracuse, Florida State and Duke.
