Battle Earns First Team All-District From Basketball Writers

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (March 13, 2018) -- Syracuse sophomore Tyus Battle was among the players named first team all-district by The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC). The all-district teams were selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC in NCAA Division 1.
Battle was one of five players picked for the NABCÂ All-District 2 Team.
Syracuse's leading scorer, Battle enters the NCAA Tournament with a 19.8 point-per-game average. He has scored in double digits in 32-of-33 games this season. Battle leads all Division I performers in average minutes played (38.8). Battled has also earned All-ACC Second Team honors and All-ACC Academic Team recognition.
