CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Syracuse tennis team came up short against No. 1 North Carolina, 6-1, Sunday morning at Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center. No. 18 Gabriela Knutson recorded the lone point for the Orange, moving to 9-0 on the season at the No. 1 singles position.
"Our team took a lot of positives from today's match," said head coach Younes Limam. "Gabriela [Knutson] did a fantastic job being tough out there and getting a quality win. The leadership that our captains are showing day in and day out is making a big difference, and our whole team is more motivated than ever to reach new heights."
