Battle Named USBWA First-Team All-District

Syracuse sophomore guard Tyus Battle has been named to the United States Basketball Writers of America (USBWA) All-District 2 Team. He
was one of 10 players honored.
Battle leads Syracuse into the first round of the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament on March 6. He has started all 31 games for the Orange, and leads the team in scoring average (20.0). Battle leads Division I players in average minutes played (38.9).
He has scored in double digits in 30-of-31 games and tallied 20-or-more points in 15-of-31 contests.
