Jan. 1, 1957	Cotton Bowl	Dallas, Texas	TCU 28, Syracuse 27	Jim Brown rushed for three TD's. A blocked fourth-quarter PAT by TCU was the difference.
Jan. 1, 1959	Orange Bowl	Miami, Fla.	Oklahoma 21, Syracuse 6	Oklahoma coach Bud Wilkinson beat his former team. SU committed four turnovers.
Jan. 1, 1960	Cotton Bowl	Dallas, Texas	Syracuse 23, Texas 14	SU completed a perfect season to win the national championship. MVP Ernie Davis scored two TDs.
Dec. 16, 1961	Liberty Bowl	Philadelphia, Pa.	Syracuse 15, Miami (Fla.) 14	SU rallied from a 14-0 halftime deficit. Ernie Davis ran for 130 yards and touchdown.
Jan. 1, 1965	Sugar Bowl	New Orleans, La.	LSU 13, Syracuse 10	LSU's Doug Moreau booted the winning FG with 3:50 left. SU led 10-2 after the first quarter.
Dec. 31, 1966	Gator Bowl	Jacksonville, Fla.	Tennessee 18, Syracuse 12	SU stars Floyd Little (216) and Larry Csonka (114) combined for 330 yards rushing in the loss.
Dec. 15, 1979	Independence Bowl	Shreveport, La.	Syracuse 31, McNeese State 7	SU held McNeese State to just one score. Offensive MVP Joe Morris rushed for 155 yards.
Dec. 21, 1985	Cherry Bowl	Pontiac, Mich.	Maryland 35, Syracuse 18	SU QB Don McPherson racked up 315 total yards. Terps scored 22 points in the second quarter.
Jan. 1, 1988	Sugar Bowl	New Orleans, La.	Syracuse 16, Auburn 16	SU finished 11-0-1 after Auburn's Win Lyle kicked the tying 30-yard FG with one second left.
Jan. 2, 1989	Hall of Fame Bowl	Tampa, Fla.	Syracuse 23, LSU 10	SU topped the SEC co-champions behind 122 yards rushing and two TDs by Robert Drummond.
Dec. 30, 1989	Peach Bowl	Atlanta, Ga.	Syracuse 19, Georgia 18	QB Mark McDonald came off the bench to rally the Orange in the Bulldogs’ backyard.
Dec. 25, 1990	Aloha Bowl	Honolulu, Hawaii	Syracuse 28, Arizona 0	‘Cuse won its fourth straight bowl game. It was the first time Arizona was shut out in 19 years.
Jan. 1, 1992	Hall of Fame Bowl	Tampa, Fla.	Syracuse 24, Ohio State 17	MVP Marvin Graves threw for 309 yards. The SU defense sacked Kirk Herbstreit four times.
Jan 1, 1993	Fiesta Bowl	Tempe, Ariz.	Syracuse 26, Colorado 22	Kirby Dar Dar’s 100-yard kickoff return TD capped a 20-point third quarter for SU.
Jan. 1, 1996	Gator Bowl	Jacksonville, Fla.	Syracuse 41, Clemson 0	Most lopsided win in Gator Bowl history. Marvin Harrison had seven catches for 173 yards.
Dec. 27, 1996	Liberty Bowl	Memphis, Tenn.	Syracuse 30, Houston 17	SU rushed for 396 yards and four TDs to extend its bowl winning streak to seven games.
Dec. 31, 1997	Fiesta Bowl	Tempe, Ariz.	Kansas State 35, Syracuse 18	KSU QB Michael Bishop passed for 317 yards and four TDs to end SU’s bowl winning streak.
Jan. 2, 1999	Orange Bowl	Miami, Fla.	Florida 31, Syracuse 10	SU earned a BCS berth in the first year of the system. Gators led 28-3 at halftime.
Dec. 29, 1999	Music City Bowl	Nashville, Tenn.	Syracuse 20, Kentucky 13	Two fourth-quarter TD runs by MVP James Mungro sealed the Orange victory.
Dec. 29, 2001	Insight.com Bowl	Phoenix, Ariz.	Syracuse 26, Kansas State 3	Clifton Smith made 12 tackles to lead an SU defense that forced four KSU turnovers.
Dec. 21, 2004	Champs Sports Bowl	Orlando, Fla.	Georgia Tech 51, Syracuse 14	Interception return for a TD on the second play of the game sparked GT to 35 first-half points.
Dec. 30, 2010	Pinstripe Bowl	Bronx, N.Y.	Syracuse 36, Kansas State 34	KSU two-point conversion failed after unsportsmanlike conduct penalty with 1:13 to go.
Dec. 29, 2012	Pinstripe Bowl	Bronx, N.Y.	Syracuse 38, West Virginia 14	MVP Prince-Tyson Gulley recorded 269 yards from scrimmage and three TDs in romp.
