
Neveklovska Advances at ITA Regional Championship

Senior Michelle Neveklovska (West Vancouver, British Columbia) advanced to
the second round of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's East Regional
Championship. The three-day tournament began Nov. 4 in Williamsburg, VA.
Neveklovska won her first-round matchup with Milena Matijevic of Niagara University 6-1, 6-2. She will compete in a second-round match on Sunday.
In doubles action, sophomores Masha Kabanova (Moscow, Russia) and Shervin Saedinia (Woodland Hills, CA) advanced to round two of the tournament, defeating the team of Barfus and Cercone from Seton Hall, 8-3. The pair lost in the next round to Penn State's team of Perez and Wang, 9-8 in a tiebreak.
Neveklovska and senior Zuzanna Borucka also competed in the doubles' tournament, losing their opening match to the pairing of Ptak and Shweky of the University of Pennsylvania, 8-6.
