SU Picked Second In Preseason BIG EAST Poll

NEW YORK, NY – Syracuse University was placed second in the BIG EAST Conference West Division in the league's preseason coaches' poll announced on Wednesday.
Boston College and Georgetown were the choices to win the East and West divisions, respectively. Coaches did not place their own teams on their preseason ballots. The Orangemen were 25-9 a season ago and finished tied for second in the BIG EAST West with a 10-6 league mark. Notre Dame won the West title in 2001 and Syracuse shared second with Georgetown.
