Galas Named to All-BIG EAST Rookie Team

SOMERSET, N.J. - Syracuse University women's soccer freshman Natalie Galas (Sterling Heights, Mich./Bishop Foley) was named to the 2001 All-BIG EAST Rookie Team at the annual BIG EAST Championship banquet on Thursday, Nov. 8. Galas was the only Orangewoman to garner All-BIG EAST accolades this season.
Galas led SU with four game-winning goals and was third on the team in scoring with 16 points on seven goals and two assists. Her seven goals was the second-most on the team. She is the sixth SU women's soccer player to be named to the All-BIG EAST Rookie Team in the program's six-year history.
