Syracuse Earns Doubles Victory, Loses to Cornell 4-3

Syracuse claimed the match by winning two of the three doubles matches. The duo of seniors Michelle Neveklovska (West Vancouver, British Columbia) and Zuzanna Borucka (Gdansk, Poland) posted an 8-4 win at No. 1 singles, while sophomores Masha Kabanova (Moscow, Russia) and Shervin Saedinia (Woodland Hills, CA) earned a 9-8 (7) win at the second-singles slot.
The Orangewomen posted a pair of wins in singles action. Borucka earned a three-set win at No. 2 singles, 4-6, 7-5, 7-5 against Daniela DelPrete. Kabanova earned her second consecutive victory at No. 3 singles, defeating Ngozi Amobi, 5-7, 6-4, 6-3.
The Orange host Georgetown Sunday, February 18 at 10 a.m.
