Five Orange Athletes Tally Top-Ten Finishes at Raleigh Relays

Two student-athletes garnered multiple top-ten finishes. Sophomore Tim Adrian (Moorpark, CA) placed sixth in the shot put, recording a season-best throw of 15.98 meters. He also finished seventh in the discus with an attempt of 49.60 meters. Senior Alex Brown (New Paltz, NY) also competed in the shot put, placing eighth at 15.42 meters. Junior Alison Culley (Foxborough, MA) garnered a pair of top-five placements. Culley clocked a time of 11.96 seconds in the 100-meter dash to finish fourth. She turned in a time of 24.47 in the 200-meter dash invitational event, earning a fifth-place finish.
Senior Opal Jones (Capitol Heights, MD) was fourth in the 100-meter hurdles, timing a 13.76-second performance. In the 400-meter hurdles event, StacyAnn Dwyer (Huntington Station, NY) placed sixth, completing the course in 1:01.86.
The men’s and women's teams travel to the Duke Invitational April 6-7 in Durham, NC.
