BIG EAST All-Stars Improve to 3-0 on Foreign Tour

Bensberg, Germany - The 2001 BIG EAST Women’s Basketball All-Stars, under the direction of Syracuse University head coach
Marianna Freeman, have improved to 3-0 on their six-game tour of Germany.
The All-Stars defeated Bonn BBC, 86-72 on Wednesday. Georgetown’s Rebekkah Brunson scored 18 points to lead the team, while SU freshman Julie McBride (Mechnicville, NY) had two points.
On Thursday, the BIG EAST All-Stars beat Bensberg, 69-45. McBride had nine points and two rebounds in the victory. In the first three games of the tour, McBride is averaging 7.7 points and 2.0 rebounds per game.
The BIG EAST All-Stars will be back in action on Saturday.
