
Seven Volleyball Players Earn Academic Honors

Seven Syracuse University women’s volleyball players were named to the Fall 2001 Athletic Director’s Honor Roll. This, fall 240 student-athletes were named to the honor roll, which was designed in 1995 to honor student-athletes with a semester grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
Senior Noreen Carroll (LaGrange, IL) has been named to the honor roll all seven semesters she has attended Syracuse. Sophomores Jennifer Crownover (Aurora, CO) and Michaela Skelly (Simi Valley, CA), have also been named to the honor roll every semester.
Junior Abby Van Mater (West Chester, PA) was named to the list for the fourth time, while senior Jing Jing Wang (Beijing, China), and freshmen Rachel Crooks (Green Springs, OH) and Ashley Kimes (Overland Park, KS) appear on the list for the first time.
All seven players earned grade point averages of 3.4 or higher. They are among 125 student-athletes who earned this honor.
